This is a really rare and absolutely amazing vintage anatomy model of a hydra - genus of small freshwater hydrozoans. It is a rare genuine vintage piece made in Bulgaria for zoology classes in universities.
The hydra is made of celluloid and consists of three pieces - a body, a transparent removable cover, and a base.
The model is in an overall good state. It has one missing tentacle visible in the photos.
It is quite large - 55 cm high, 16 cm deep, and 30 cm wide.
