Beautiful vintage anatomical model of the archegonium of the liverwort (Marchantia polymorpha). The model was used for educational purposes. It was made in Germany by PHYWE in the 1950s-60s. It is a highly collectible and an original Brendel model.
This model is truly a unique and original piece of decoration and a really thoughtful present for someone with an interest in Botanics or biology sciences in general.
It is 37.5 cm high and the base is 16 cm wide and 18 cm long.
