This is a lovely carriage barrel with a distinctive round shape. It is a genuine, really decorative piece with great farmhouse-style rustic charisma!
These small wooden barrels were used in the past to store, transport, and sell water and liqueurs. Hung on a horse-drawn carriage or over the shoulder, they’ve been quenching the thirst of travelers and passers-by for many years. Now they are used as decoration at home or in the garden.
It is in good condition with normal traces of aging and usage.
